2nd stage of the PGR cycle: Retention and Progression (RaP)

  1. Introduction, objectives and agenda 

This workshop was offered to women who identify as Black, Asian, and/or from minority ethnic backgrounds, and who are enrolled in PGR study.  

 The objectives of this workshop were to provide advice and guidance on: 

  1. The process of progression in doctoral studies
  2. Addressing racial harassment during PGR study 
  3. Student support and engagement for PGR

 2. Registration and attendees 

A total of 78 PGR students registered for the workshop and 25 were selected to attend the session. 

3. Opening welcome 

Dr Kendi Guantai, EDI Dean at the University of Leeds gave a heart-warming welcome to the students, highlighting the importance of projects such as Generation Delta: Kendi Guantai.mp4
