Part-time PhD candidate in the 4^th year of study. The research is titled:

Exploring the Work-Life Experiences of Black Teaching Assistants

My project is autoethnographic in approach and is inspired by my thirteen-year experience as a teaching assistant and then as a classroom teacher. I am interested in analysing the multifaceted roles that Black teaching assistants play in the school community and challenging the intersectional inequalities that Black women face in the workforce. I am also due to complete a PGCHE course at Goldsmiths. I have a BA in Education from the University of Greenwich and a PGCE and MA from Goldsmiths. I work as a part-time primary school teacher.

In addition to my studies, I am a departmental student rep and outside of Goldsmiths, a community leader and volunteer. I lead several groups in the local area.
